The PowerCaddy is an ideal system if a medical facility has a mobile solution where handheld computers (PDA’s) are utilized. The PowerCaddy allows the interior batteries of a mobile printer (such as models Zebra QL220 Plus and Q320 Plus) and a PDA (such as models Motorola MC70 or MC55) to be simultaneously charged by placing the caddy onto a charging bank.
This patent pending method of charging allows the end user not ever having to remove any of the devices from the caddy to re-charge their interior batteries and to conveniently carry a handheld computer with a mobile printer right to the patient’s bedside. In addition, each caddy is equipped with a tube or vial rack and plenty of space for supplies.
The PowerCaddy eliminates possible mistakes of misidentifying patients due to mislabeling medical items. The
PowerCaddy eliminates possible misdiagnoses, costly lawsuits, the need to re-run lab tests and the need to re-print, re-sort and redistribute labels because it prints labels right at the patient’s bedside.
